Woody Allen
I love Woody Allen. I love his writing, his
films and the nervy, neurotic intellectual he always plays.
Today, the word genius is over used, I've used it very sparingly
on this website, but the word, in my opinion, does apply to
Woody Allen. A Woody Allen film isn't just a movie, they are
mirrors on society, and mirrors polished with crystal clarity
and reflecting, with sublime wit, truths that, perhaps, we
would prefer to cast a blind eye to, but harnessed to the
skill and talent of Woody Allen's pen, these truths make us
laugh and cry and cringe...
I could list Woody Allen's films and each is
an individual gem that radiates humanity, but it is the whole
body of his work that is the true art, because each piece,
each movie is a facet of the diamond that is Woody Allen's
genius... I love Woody Allen... Full stop.
