Sally Field
Sally Field has won two Oscars for best actress,
first for Norma Rae in 1979, and the second for Places in
the Heart in 1984.
I'll always remember her as the bubbly, sexy
babe in Smokey And The Bandit 1 & 2 - I've suffered a
major crush for Sally Field eversince watching those films.
Great entertainment and, in my humble opinion, she was wasted
on Burt Reynolds... ;-) But on a serious note, she showed
her perfect comic timing in both the Smokey And The Bandit
movies...
But in the brilliant movie Absense Of Malice
with Paul Newman Sally Field was simply superb and gave a
sublime performance of the naive reporter. And with Tom Hanks
in Punchline we saw a very different Sally Field performance,
as with Steel Magnolias and Mrs Doubtfire. In Not Without
My Daughter Sally Field gave an truly awesome performance
and played her role using every sensitive muscle in her face
and with sincere pain in her eyes. In Not Without My Daughter
Sally Field was completely absorbed by the character and we
experienced the brilliance of her acting talent again in Eye
For An Eye.
I love Sally Field... Couldn't you tell... ;-)
