Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp's first major film was a role in
A Nightmare on Elm Street, made in 1984 where he played the
boyfriend of Nancy Thompson, played by Heather Langenkamp,
and became another of Freddy's victims. In 1986, he played
a supporting role as a Vietnamese-speaking private in Oliver
Stone's Platoon. Then Johnny Depp took a leap up and became
an A list actor by playing the quirky title role in the Tim
Burton film, Edward Scissorhands. The film's huge box-office
success began a long association with Burton.
I really liked Johnny Depp in Once Upon A Time
In Mexico, but then, I love the film, and most recently, Johnny
Depp's, performances as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates
Of The Caribean series have been an important key to the movie
series success. But what I really like about Johnny Depp is
you really don't know what to expect from him next. We only
know it will be quirky, off the wall and completely original.
Johnny Depp has the knack of playing characters only Johnny
Depp can play...
Johnny Depp is a Hollywood A list superstar
and his portrayal of characters in Hollywood films such as
Edward Scissorhands and Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean
have cemented Johnny Depp's place in Hollywood folklore history.
Johnny Depp is an exceptional acting talent.
I understand he is due to play Tonto in a film
titled The Lone Ranger; I really look forward to that...
